In fact, connecting with others in a safe, supportive environment often accelerates growth, builds confidence, and deepens your understanding of your own gifts.
That’s why Jodie from The Healing Bower has come together with super coach, Lizzie Buscaino to host a monthly gathering called The Woo Woo Lounge—a space for spiritually curious souls to meet, share, learn, and expand. Whether you're brand new to intuition or have been walking the path for years, these evenings offer a chance to explore psychic development, try new tools and techniques, and connect with like-minded people.
Why Group Work Supports Intuitive Growth
When we gather in a circle of shared intention, our intuitive abilities often expand more quickly and more clearly. Here’s why:

At The Woo Woo Lounge, we explore all kinds of spiritual modalities—from energy sensing exercises to card readings, intuitive games, and guided meditations. It’s a fun, lighthearted, yet deeply transformative space to practice and play.

There are many paths within the intuitive world, and often they overlap. Here’s a simple breakdown of some of the roles and practices you might explore or encounter at The Woo Woo Lounge.
Psychic development
A psychic reads energy, tuning into your aura, soul, or timeline to offer insights about the past, present, or future. This can come through any of the “clair” senses—seeing, hearing, feeling, or knowing. Psychics don’t necessarily communicate with spirits, but rather receive information from the energetic field or intuitive realm.
Mediumship
A psychic medium connects with spiritual beings—this could include loved ones who’ve passed, spirit guides, angels, or even animal spirits. Mediums use the same clair senses, but specifically to receive and translate messages from the spirit world. A medium allows for healing conversations with those who have crossed over, as well as receiving wisdom from guides in the unseen realms.
Tarot
Tarot cards are a centuries-old tool for divination and self-discovery. A tarot deck typically includes 78 cards, each rich with symbolic meaning. Tarot readings offer insights into personal, professional, and spiritual matters. Some see tarot as a mystical tool, others as a mirror to the subconscious mind—but either way, it’s a powerful way to access deeper truth. Whether read intuitively or with a deep knowledge of symbolism, tarot offers both the reader and the seeker a map for understanding life's current chapter.
The Healing Bower also hosts the Tarot Club! A casual group catch up to learn the cards and develop our reading skills. On the 4th Thursday of the Month, in Tweed Heads South. 6-8:30pm $10 includes a hand out, teas and snacks.
Akashic records
The Akashic Records are often described as a cosmic library that contains every thought, action, intention, and experience your soul has ever had—and could have. A reading offers access to this soul-level information, bringing profound insight and healing. The Woo Woo Lounge explores the records in group sessions to help connect you with higher guidance, clear blocks and activate your soul’s highest path.
Energy Healing
Energy healers work with the subtle body to release blockages and restore balance. At The Healing Bower, Jodie offers Reiki, Lomi Lomi massage, and other modalities that work with life-force energy. The Woo Woo Lounge energy healing swap nights are not to be missed when all healers get together for a shared healing experience it can be quite an uplift!
Astrology
Astrology is the ancient study of how the movements and positions of celestial bodies influence human behavior, personality, and life events. Your birth chart, created from the date, time, and place of your birth, acts as a cosmic blueprint of your soul’s journey.

Dream work might involve:
