Are you a Caregiver?

Reiki is an essential skill to have in your tool belt if you are a therapist of any kind. With double-blind research in the nursing sector - Reiki has proven time and again to protect, energise and ease the energetic burden that nurses, social workers, support staff, and caregivers are under every day. Reiki will be your number 1 self-care tool, with an abundance of research studies proving Reiki's effectiveness in reducing chronic pain, easing anxiety, lifting depression and reducing burn out (even in critical care nurses!).

Are you a massage therapist?

I (seriously) can't receive a massage from anyone not trained in some form of energy healing anymore. No matter how skilled their hands are, I feel like the job is only half done. You KNOW what I'm talking about - have you ever had a massage where you've felt like an anonymous lump of meat? You've just received a little human tenderising in your zero-vibes rub? Stop! Ew! Reiki training helps you bring in love and support to the people who are trusting you with their most precious treasure (their body!). As a human, you already are a natural energy healer (we all are), and you may provide soul healing and natural energy flow in a massage - but are you tired afterwards? Do some clients drain you? Do you think about your clients long after they've left your clinic? Then understanding the principles of energy (including protection and boundaries) are essential for you!

Where did Reiki come from?

Reiki is based on ancient energy healing wisdom, though the practice of Reiki traces its roots to the early 20th century, when Japanese monk Mikao Usui (1865–1926) studied the ancient texts and developed what is now known as the Usui System of Natural Healing. Reiki offers an elegantly simple and deeply compassionate approach to energy healing — a system born from Usui’s lifelong spiritual quest and his discovery of a universal healing energy. Today, Reiki is gaining momentum across integrative health, palliative care, and mental-health settings around the world (though it sometimes takes a little longer to catch on in Australia).

In my courses, I bring together the timeless spiritual wisdom of Usui Reiki with a science-informed perspective. Drawing upon contemporary research in the nursing sector, biofield therapies, somatic wellness, and energy-based interventions, I offer a balanced training that honours tradition while remaining grounded in evidence-inspired understanding.

General Course Details

Delivery: I always do my courses in-person, typically in small groups. 
Locations: Tweed Heads, Northern NSW & Coolangatta, Gold Coast, Queensland 
Duration: 8–12 hours (varies by group size and pace)
Certification: Reiki 1 or Reiki 2 Certificate (hard copy provided)

IICT Approved: Reiki 2 training is a registered course with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT). All of my graduates are immediately eligible for IICT membership and insurance coverage, allowing you to offer Reiki professionally.​
