If you’re a healer, intuitive, creative, or multi‑passionate soul, you may find yourself at a crossroads more often than most.
You don’t just have one calling — you have many.
Tarot. Reiki. Bodywork. Teaching. Workshops. Writing. New ideas that arrive fully formed in the shower or halfway through meditation.
And eventually, very real and grounded questions arise:
Am I meant to follow all of these paths? Is there one I should focus on? Which one will support me financially? Which one is aligned the most with my soul purpose?
This blog post is for anyone navigating a career change, spiritual business direction, or period of discernment. It’s especially for those who offer multiple healing modalities and want to make conscious choices about where to invest their time, energy, and marketing dollars.
Below, I’m sharing a Tarot spread I designed for exactly this purpose. It’s a spread that builds clarity without bypassing reality and honours both spiritual fulfilment and financial sustainability.

Why Tarot Is So Powerful for Career and Life Decisions
Tarot is often misunderstood as a predictive tool. In truth, Tarot is far more powerful as a decision‑making and self‑trust practice.
When used skillfully, Tarot helps you:
Clarify your values and priorities
Separate emotional fulfilment from financial function
Understand energetic alignment before investing money or effort
Make grounded choices aligned with soul growth
This is the heart of how I teach Tarot — not as fortune‑telling, but as a relationship with wisdom, symbolism, and discernment.
Before the Spread: name your modalities/choices
Before pulling cards, take a pen and write a list of:
All the modalities you currently offer
All the paths you feel drawn to explore
Any roles, ideas, or career directions that feel alive right now
Examples might include:
Tarot reading
Reiki or energy healing
Massage or bodywork
Teaching or mentoring
Creative or intuitive work
Corporate or part‑time employment
A new offering you haven’t yet named
Important: There is no hierarchy here. Just honesty.
Now, choose one modality at a time and lay the following four‑card spread for each.
If you have a long list - you may want to take a photo or write down what cards came out for each modality and return those cards to your deck. Shuffle the cards and focus on the next modality and draw another four - repeat for each modality you have listed.
The Tarot Spread: Soul & Sustainability Discernment
This is a repeated 4‑card Tarot spread for career clarity, designed to be repeated for each modality or path you’re considering.

Card 1 — What This Path Requires from Me
This card reveals the inputs needed for this modality to thrive.
It may highlight:
Time, study, or discipline
Emotional labour or energetic boundaries
Visibility, marketing, or confidence
Systems, structure, or consistency
The internal emotional work I need to do before I can show up authentically in this modality
This card helps you assess whether you want, and are able, to meet these requirements at this stage of life.
Card 2 — What This Path will Bring Me
This card speaks to emotional, spiritual, and energetic fulfilment.
Ask yourself:
Does this light me up?
Does it restore or deplete me?
Does it connect me to meaning, intuition, or self healing?
Some modalities are here to refill your spiritual cup, even if they are not financially supportive.
Card 3 — Alignment With My Soul Purpose
This card explores how deeply this modality aligns with your longer‑term soul path.
Importantly, soul purpose does not always equal income.
This card may indicate:
A lifelong calling
A seasonal role
A supporting thread rather than a central focus
Tarot helps you honour purpose without forcing it into the wrong container.
Card 4 — Financial Sustainability & Abundance Potential
This card looks honestly at the capacity for financial support over time.
It may speak to:
Consistency or instability
Scalability or limitations
Market readiness
Your relationship with receiving money through this modality
This is a powerful card when deciding where to invest marketing energy or business resources.
Reading the Spread Across All Modalities
Once you’ve laid this spread for each path, step back and observe the patterns.
Ask:
Which modalities repeatedly show strong financial sustainability?
Which ones consistently nourish and restore me?
Are there paths that do both and am I giving them enough focus?
A common insight that emerges is this:
The modalities that nourish our souls most deeply are not always meant to fund our lives — but without them, the income‑generating paths lose meaning.
Tarot offers clarity without forcing false choices.
A Grounded Truth About Soul‑Led Work
Not everything you love needs to be monetised.
And not everything that pays well needs to be your deepest soul expression.
Wisdom lives in clarity, consent, and conscious design.
This is what Tarot reveals when you allow the cards to speak to you.
